In a case that has been prorogued for many years, the verdict has finally come. All four must come out. Had a panoramic scan taken on Saturday, which looks super cool. These are the two partially erupted bad boys causing all the problems.
Surgery is set for end of February. I’m not particularly looking forward to the pain, but I am curious as to what my chipmunk face will be like.

2/03/2009 2:37 AMEveryone's level of pain is different. I actually had no pain from the surgery or recovery, and the pain meds made me sick so I stopped taking them. The worst part for me was the cotton pads constantly soaked in blood in my mouth. Good luck with the extraction!- Kungfucius said...
2/03/2009 10:59 AMYeah since so much blood is routed through your mouth, you have to make sure to keep the bleeding in check. On the other hand, that also means that it'll tend to heal a lot faster, so take it easy after the surgery and you should be ok :)- Rich said...
2/04/2009 2:52 AMWow, I had my bad boys taken out when I was 15! Fortunately I only had 3. It really wasn't that bad. Going under general anesthesia is quite an experience.
